The Dubai Tourism’s latest Advertisement #Bemyguest, featuring the King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan, showcases why Dubai is the actor’s home away from home. This ad shows the sights, adventure, culture and the beauty of the city in different dimensions as SRK movies amongst its residents and visitors, and invites the viewer to “come with me, be my guest”.
The ad features Shah Rukh surprising tourists in Dubai. From jogging to sky diving to serving them in a restaurant, he leaves the tourists shocked, surprised and delighted to see him. The ad concludes with a night scene at the Dubai Fountain where Khan turns to the camera and says, "This is my Dubai. Be my guest".
Talking about the city, the Bollywood superstar said: “Dubai is a second home to me… Whether I am here on vacation with my family and friends, or my business trips here for shoots, it’s a city that I truly relate to on so many levels – driven, passionate and spirited.”
The ad was conceptualized to strengthen and celebrate the bond and cultural links between Dubai and the subcontinent, and the campaign underlines the importance of India as a key source market for inbound tourism to the emirate.
In less than 24 hours after the video was posted it had already been watched more than 53,500 times and now the total views on Youtube stands at 7.3mn views, demonstrating how impactful the video has been. The Prime Focus Advertising team was delighted to be brought in by director Prakash Varma and Nirvana Films to deliver editing services for the ad.
