Glitz was added to the movie in the Digital Intermediate (DI) process, executed by the Prime Focus team. Shot in some of the most exotic locations in the world, including Morocco, Abu Dhabi and India, a crisp, raw and warm tone was decided on for the film to bring about the sultriness of the climate. Although the entire narrative unravels within 36 hours, the sequences were shot over multiple days, posing a great challenge for the team in maintaining a consistent look for the film. In addition to DI, Prime Focus’ equipment rental division also provided Red Epic Dragon 6K with Master Prime and Alura zoom lenses for the shoot.
Dishoom released on 29th July 2016 and is having an outstanding run at the Indian Box Office, collecting ₹ 42.17 crore in just 4 days.
