Kahaani 2 is a 2016 Indian thriller film directed by Sujoy Ghosh and starring Vidya Balan and Arjun Rampal in leading roles. Balan plays Vidya Sinha, a middle-aged single mother living with her paralyzed daughter Mini in Chandannagar. When her child is kidnapped, a harried Vidya leaves home to search for her, meeting with an accident and slipping into a coma. Inderjeet Singh (Arjun Rampal), a sub-inspector, comes to investigate Vidya’s hit and run case, but is shocked to find that the lady is actually Durga Rani Singh, who has been accused of kidnapping and murdering her own daughter.
Kahaani 2 released worldwide on 2 December 2016 and has so far grossed ₹ 43.76 crore at the Global Box Office. Prime Focus delivered equipment rental services for the film.
