Cannes Lions 2016: Prime Focus Advertising delivers 3 winners from India
July 3, 2016The Prime Focus Advertising division delivered creative post production services on three of the Cannes Lions 2016 winners from India. Let’s take a closer look at these commercials:
BBDO India, for its campaign 'Dads #ShareTheLoad' for Ariel (Procter and Gamble) won 1 Glass Lion and 4 Bronze Lions (3 for Dads #ShareTheLoad, 1 for #ShareTheLoad). Prime Focus is proud to have delivered picture post services for the ‘Ariel - #ShareTheLoad’ commercial, including the offline and online editing. The team worked closely with creative agency BBDO India and director Shimit Amin for feedback and input during the offline editing process.
Leo Burnett India took home a Bronze Lion in the Promo & Activation category under Cars & Automotive Product & Services category.The agency won the award for its work on Bajaj Automobile - Bajaj V, a new motorcycle from Bajaj, made from the scrap metal of Indian naval battleship INS Vikrant. Prime Focus delivered picture post services for both the shorter and extended version of the documentary featuring the war veterans who served aboard INS Vikrant.
Publicis’ 'Ambuja Khali' campaign for Ambuja Cement was another winner at Cannes Lions 2016, winning a Bronze Lionunder the Direction sub-category.Shot as a 'mockumentary', the one-minute spot stars WWE Superstar The Great Khali, and chronicles his struggles as he goes about his life at home and outside, breaking walls, ceilings, floors and chairs, albeit unintentionally, much to the dismay of his family and the people around him. His agony ends when he uses Ambuja Cement to build his home. Prime Focus delivered picture post services for the commercial, including the offline and online editing.
