Vodafone India’s latest commercial calls for viewers to become a ‘SuperBuddy’ by using Vodafone’s SuperNet 4G service. When a commuter fears she is being followed in the metro, her ‘SuperBuddy’ is able to video call her to make sure she’s safe, even though she is still underground. The tagline for the ad is ‘Make video calls from anywhere’. Vodafone being one of the key IPL sponsors, the spot was aired frequently during the IPL matches.
The commercial was directed by Prakash Varma and produced by Nirvana Films for Ogilvy & Mather with Prime Focus delivering the picture post services, including grading and offline & online editing.
