The new Sprite ad is set in a restaurant and opens with a glass (Chhote) and a bottle of Sprite (Bade) talking to each other. The camera focuses on a couple posing for selfies with their food. Chhote calls them ‘cool’, but Bade disagrees, saying that those who are more hungry for ‘likes’ than food are not ‘cool’ but ‘fools’. Sure enough, they drop the phone into their food.
The camera then shifts to a young man, casually dressed, who is clearly enjoying his meal. Bade calls him ‘cool’ as he is hungry for his food. As they are talking ice cubes are dropped into the glass, and he asks the Sprite bottle where he thinks they are going. Bade replies, that if they go anywhere it’ll be to the man who is enjoying his meal. The next shot shows the man gulping down the drink and the film ends with the message 'Sprite. Clear hai'.
Conceptualized wonderfully by Ogilvy & Mather and produced by Curious Films, Prime Focus was delighted to provide editing services for the ad film. Soham Raval and Shiv Kumar provided the Online & Offline edits for the ad.
