The Indian Premier League (IPL) has launched the anthem for the 2018 edition and it is an enthralling one. Titled Best vs Best, the song embodies the unifying spirit of the IPL. It focuses on how IPL showcases the best cricketing action in the world as it brings together the best talent from across the globe and gives them the platform to showcase their prowess as match winners. The anthem also conveys that IPL is a big opportunity for young cricketers to prove their mettle. It is titled Best vs Best as the IPL is about the best players competing against each other.
With each of the teams in the IPL representing a region of the country, the anthem to has been released in five languages – Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Kannada, and Telugu. The team that worked on the anthem include South African filmmaker Dan Mace, music director Raajeev V Bhalla and vocalist Siddhart Basrur.
